Great Rooms Available at MC Community Center

Some of you may not be aware that there are three wonderful rooms available to rent in the Mason Creek Community Center.
The Kingsland Ballroom is the largest event room, and can accommodate up to 242 people. It has a caterer’s kitchen with a subzero refrigerator, a large dance floor, a private outdoor patio and a digital sound system. Rates for residents are:
Parties over 100 occupants
- 3 hours (minimum) â— $575 ($100 each additional hour)
- Full day â— $1,175
- Deposit â— $500
Parties under 100 occupants
- 3 hours (minimum) â— $375 ($50 each additional hour)
- Full day â— $800
- Deposit â— $500
The West Room can host up to 50 people. During swim season, this room can be rented in conjunction with the pool for after-hours private swimming parties. Rates for residents are the same as the Houghton Room (see below).
The Houghton Room is great for events that have up to 35 people. The room has a fully functioning kitchen, and French doors provide access to the covered patio. Rates for residents are:
- Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. â— $85 for this whole time period ($10 each additional hour)
- Monday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. â— $125 for this whole time period ($10 each additional hour)
- Friday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. â— $125 for this whole time period ($10 each additional hour)
- Friday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. â— $125 for this whole time period ($10 each additional hour)
- Deposit â— $100
Please note that constables are always required when alcohol is served at a function, so that would be an additional charge. Constables are also required for parties with teenagers.
