Governors Place HOA Board Meeting Set for September 9th

September 04 2025

Residents of Governors Place are invited to take part in an important community conversation at the upcoming Board of Directors meeting of the Governors Place Community Association. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Governors Place Clubhouse, 335 Governors Place Drive.

These gatherings are more than just business—they’re an opportunity for neighbors to come together, share input, and better understand how decisions are shaping the community. The open forum portion of the meeting gives residents a chance to bring forward questions, ideas, or concerns directly to board members.

What’s on the Agenda?

The September meeting will cover several topics that affect everyday life in Governors Place, including:

  • Community Safety: Updates on Eagle Eyes camera systems will be discussed, as well as bids to repair neighborhood lighting at Kings Cross and Peek Road.

  • Neighborhood Appearance: Landscaping updates and tree trimming bids are scheduled to be reviewed.

  • Financial Planning: The board will present reports on cash management and money market accounts, and will consider the approval of the 2026 budget and assessment rates.

  • Community Policies: Board members will review new 2025 legislative changes, including updates to architectural control, solicitation policy, perimeter fencing, bylaws, and solar panel policies.

  • Neighborhood Events: Planning for National Night Out—a popular annual event that fosters community safety and togetherness—will also be discussed.
