Girl Scout Cookie Season 2025: Your Favorite Cookies Are Back Starting February 8
Houston-area residents can soon indulge in the irresistible Girl Scout cookies that have become a beloved tradition nationwide. The Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council (GSSJC) will officially launch their highly anticipated annual Girl Scout Cookie Program on February 8, with cookie booths popping up in communities starting February 14.
This year’s cookie lineup includes fan favorites like Thin Mints®, Caramel deLites®, and Peanut Butter Patties®, along with other iconic options such as Adventurefuls®, Lemonades®, Trefoils®, Toast-Yay!®, Peanut Butter Sandwich, and Caramel Chocolate Chip. Each box is priced at $6. Notably, the Toast-Yay! cookie will retire after this season, making it a must-try for collectors of Girl Scout memories.
Caramel Chocolate Chip, a gluten-free option, will be available exclusively online, and detailed nutritional information can be found on order cards or at abcbakers.com.
A Sweet Tradition with a Greater Purpose
“Launching into a new Girl Scout cookie season is like opening a door to endless possibilities for our girls and their troops,” said Mary Vitek, CEO of GSSJC. “Through the cookie program, girls learn essential life skills, develop confidence, and build a foundation for future success.”
Since its inception in 1917, the Girl Scout Cookie Program has grown to become the world’s largest girl-led business and financial literacy initiative. The program teaches Girl Scouts invaluable skills, including goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. Proceeds benefit local troop activities, maintain camp properties, and ensure Girl Scout programs remain accessible to underserved communities through financial aid.
The Girl Scouts organization empowers girls of all backgrounds and abilities to pursue their dreams, discover their strengths, and lead with confidence. Backed by adult mentors, volunteers, and a supportive community, Girl Scouts cultivate leadership skills and drive positive change in their communities.
