Residents in Katy will soon have a new pizza destination to add to their list of neighborhood dining options as Vocelli Pizza prepares to open its first Houston-area location in early 2026.
The Italian-inspired pizza chain, known for its handcrafted pies and more than three decades of family-crafted recipes, has signed a new franchise agreement to bring a restaurant to 2941 W. Grand Parkway North in Katy, Texas, at the southwest corner of Grand Parkway and Morton Road. The location is scheduled to open in March 2026, marking the brand’s official entry into the Houston market.
For Katy residents, the arrival signals not just another pizza shop, but a new dining option designed with the area’s diverse community in mind. The upcoming restaurant will feature a regionalized menu with Halal products, offering inclusive pizza and delivery options for families across the rapidly growing west Houston suburbs.
Bringing a National Pizza Brand to Katy
Vocelli Pizza’s leadership says the move into Katy reflects both the company’s continued national expansion and the strength of the Houston-area dining market.

The Katy location is part of a broader expansion strategy for the Pittsburgh-based company, which currently operates more than 80 locations across the United States. Vocelli Pizza plans to launch 11 new restaurants nationwide in 2026, continuing a growth trajectory fueled by franchise partnerships and demand for its handcrafted pizza menu.
Halal Menu Aimed at Houston’s Diverse Community
One of the most notable features of the Katy restaurant will be its full Halal menu, a move the company says is intended to meet the needs of the Houston region’s culturally diverse population.

Family-Crafted Recipes Since 1988
Vocelli Pizza traces its roots back to 1988, when founder Varol Ablak opened the first location. Originally from Zonguldak, Turkey, Ablak built the brand around the idea of delivering authentic, high-quality pizza made with fresh ingredients and traditional preparation methods.
Over the past 35 years, that philosophy has remained central to the brand’s identity. Every pizza begins with fresh, hand-tossed dough prepared daily, topped with 100% mozzarella cheese and the company’s signature red sauce recipe.
The menu features a wide variety of options, including build-your-own pizzas with multiple crust styles, artisan specialty pizzas and Italian-inspired favorites such as the BBQ Chicken Pizza, Meat Magnifico, Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Quattro Cheese, Hawaiian Pizza and Garlic Spinaci.
Customers can also choose from a variety of crusts including traditional, thin, stuffed, Neapolitan, Colosso, cauliflower and gluten-free options, offering flexibility for different dietary preferences.
Growth Across Multiple U.S. Markets
The Katy opening is one of several new restaurants planned by Vocelli Pizza in early 2026.
A new dine-in location is also scheduled to open in Dalton, Georgia, inside the historic Crown Cotton Mill, a building originally constructed in 1884 that has been redeveloped into a mixed-use destination featuring shops, restaurants, event spaces and loft apartments. That restaurant will include entertainment features such as live music, pool tables, bingo nights and weekend brunch.
In Rockville, Maryland, the company plans to reopen a location led by a franchisee with longstanding ties to the Vocelli Pizza brand.
Together, the three openings represent the company’s continued effort to expand into new markets while maintaining the neighborhood-focused identity that helped build its reputation.
