For the little ones
Kick off the month with Mother Goose Time (Dec 3, 10, 17) for babies and toddlers, featuring rhymes and songs to engage the youngest learners. The Family Story Time sessions (Dec 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19) are perfect for children of all ages, bringing magical stories to life. The Cinco Ranch Branch Library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd., Katy, Texas 77494, first opened in June 1998 as a mini-branch called the Katy/Fort Bend Branch Library at the University of Houston’s Cinco Ranch campus. Initially operated by volunteers, the library quickly outgrew its space and moved to a larger location in 1999, thanks to the efforts of the Katy/Fort Bend Friends of the Library. As the community grew, the demand for a larger facility led to the construction of a new 33,500-square-foot building, which opened on April 3, 2004. The library is a key community resource, offering a variety of programs and services for residents of all ages.
