Fulshear Police Department Hosts Holiday Movie Night with 'The Grinch' This Friday
Get ready for a fun-filled evening of festive activities this Friday, December 20, 2024, as the Fulshear Police Department brings the holiday spirit to life with a free outdoor movie event. Starting at 5:30 PM, families of all ages are invited to gather at the Fulshear Police Station (6639 W Cross Creek Bend Lane) for a night of excitement, laughter, and heartwarming holiday cheer.
The evening’s activities kick off with a variety of interactive fun! Kids and creative adults alike can enjoy a coloring station, where you can unleash your artistic side and bring some holiday magic to life. But the fun doesn’t stop there – Sergeant McCann, Fulshear Police Department's beloved mascot, will be on hand for a meet-and-greet, along with K-9 Blu, the Fulshear Police Department’s K-9, who will be making a special holiday appearance. This is the perfect chance to snap a photo with your favorite local heroes!
Thanks to the generous support of Cross Creek HEB, there will be delicious snacks to keep everyone fueled for the evening’s fun, and Humble Grounds Coffeehouse will be serving up warm, comforting hot chocolate to keep you cozy under the stars.

At 6:30 PM, it’s time for the main event – a screening of The Grinch, the beloved 2018 animated movie from Universal Pictures and Illumination. This fun-filled holiday classic follows the mischievous Grinch as he attempts to steal Christmas from the Whos of Whoville, only to discover the true meaning of the holiday. It’s a heartwarming tale that’s sure to get you in the festive spirit!
The movie and festivities are proudly sponsored by the Fulshear Police Foundation, and the event is completely free to attend. While snacks will be provided, you're welcome to bring your own food and have a picnic under the stars.
The fun will take place in the turfed area behind the Fulshear Police Station, so don't forget to bring a blanket, lawn chair, or a cozy pillow to settle in and enjoy the show. It’s the perfect way to spend a Friday evening with family, friends, and neighbors as we come together to celebrate the season.
