Fulshear Cheer Secures Second Consecutive NCA National Champion Title; Support the Team at Chips for Chargers Casino Night
Fulshear Cheer has earned its second consecutive National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) High School National Championship title, a remarkable achievement for the team. Competing in the 2025 NCA High School Nationals held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas from January 24-26, Fulshear Cheer clinched first place in the highly competitive Game Day division.
This prestigious competition celebrates the spirit and energy of school programs, with teams showcasing their Band Chant, Game Day Cheer, Fight Song, and Game Day situational responses in a dynamic three-minute performance. Fulshear Cheer impressed the judges with a flawless performance, earning a raw score of 146.6 and a performance score of 97.73. Notably, the team received zero deductions, further highlighting their precision and skill.

“We are extremely proud of the team and coaches! Their consistent accolades are a true testament to their hard work, dedication, and #ChargedUp precision,” said head coach Tara Smith. This victory is a significant milestone for Fulshear Cheer, reinforcing the team’s reputation for excellence and discipline.
In addition to celebrating this impressive national title, the Fulshear community is invited to support the team and all Fulshear High School student-athletes by attending the annual Chips for Chargers casino night on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Jones Creek Lodge. This fundraising event, hosted by the Fulshear Athletic Booster Club, is dedicated to raising funds to promote and support Fulshear High School’s athletes and coaches.
The Chips for Chargers night will feature live casino games, a live auction, table prizes, and an exciting raffle. Guests will also enjoy delicious food from Anthonie’s Market Grill, and the chance to try their luck at the roulette wheel. This event offers a fun-filled opportunity to learn about the mission of the Fulshear Athletic Booster Club and explore how to get involved in supporting student-athletes.
Tickets for the event are available online at Fulshear Athletics and include a meal, drink tickets, casino chips, and a raffle entry. The Fulshear community is encouraged to attend for a night of entertainment and support for the hardworking student-athletes.
