Free Summer Meals & Family Fun Coming to Campbell Middle School for CFISD Summer Meals Kickoff Event
Summer break is right around the corner, and CFISD is making sure no child goes hungry while school is out. Harvest Bend families are invited to mark their calendars for the Summer Meals Kick-Off Event on Monday, June 10, at Campbell Middle School, located at 11415 Bobcat Road, Houston, TX 77064. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and promises a fun-filled day for the whole family.
This annual event celebrates the start of CFISD’s Summer Meals Program, which offers free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years old and younger—no registration or ID required. It’s an essential resource that helps bridge the gap for families who rely on school meals during the academic year.
Free Meals, Games, and Community Resources
The Kick-Off Event will feature a range of family-friendly activities, including bounce houses, games, and free food for kids. Local organizations and service providers will also be on-site offering summer resources for families—from wellness programs to enrichment opportunities.
While kids eat free, adults can enjoy lunch for $5 (cash only)—making this not only a fun outing but also a budget-friendly one.
