Fit4Mom in Cypress Empowers Local Moms and Fosters Meaningful Connections

February 12 2024

Motherhood is a beautiful and rewarding journey, but it's no secret that it can also be incredibly challenging. The sleepless nights, the endless responsibilities, and the constant juggling act can leave moms feeling overwhelmed and alone. For moms in Cypress, that's where Fit4Mom comes in, an unconventional fitness program that is revolutionizing the motherhood journey for countless moms across the community.

A wife, a mother, and the owner of Fit4Mom Cypress, Christina Jackson has worn many hats to get to where she is today. But every step in her journey has imbued her with a passion for empowering other moms that outshines the trials, and sweetens the highs, of motherhood.

Originally from Katy, Christina is a proud graduate of Katy High School and the University of Houston. After a brief stint in Bryan College Station, she's thrilled to be back in the Greater Houston Area, where she's found her calling in Fit4Mom.

"I joined Fit4Mom Bryan College Station when my oldest daughter was 4 months old. I was a first-time mom, a first-time stay at home mom, and was the first of our friend group to become a mom," Christina recalls. "I had zero mom friends and I had no idea how to be a mom."

She didn't just find herself in a fitness program, but a community that transcended the bounds of the traditional workout room. Her first class was an experience that filled an empty void, and ignited a spark that would later fuel her own franchise. Christina reveals, "My cup went from being totally empty to completely full that morning in just one hour. Every mom was so kind and welcoming."

Fit4Mom is no ordinary fitness program. Designed by moms for moms, it's a community that fosters camaraderie, sisterhood, empowerment, and growth. Christina’s journey through the Fit4Mom programs transformed her physical health, mental wellbeing, and motherhood experience, one that she felt deeply compelled to share with other moms.

Christina credits her husband, Justin, for encouraging her to start her own Fit4Mom franchise in Cypress. "He saw a bright light of passion in me," she says. They've been married for nearly six years, and together they navigate the beautiful chaos of raising their two children, Kennedy (4), and Brody (2).

Through Fit4Mom Cypress, Christina has dedicated herself to creating a safe and supportive space for other moms to grow and learn, just like she did. She emphasizes the importance of self-affirmation and community, sharing, "I love making sure my moms are seen and feel valued. We end every single class with affirmations. I always end it with “I am a great mom”. We don't hear affirmations nearly enough as moms, so I truly make it a point to remind moms of how strong they are, how beautiful they are and how amazing they are doing in motherhood."

From mommy-and-me classes to mom-only workouts, Fit4Mom Cypress offers a wide range of programs to accommodate every mom's unique journey. Classes are typically held at local parks like John Paul Landing Park and Deputy Darren Goforth Park, as well as the Richard and Meg Weekley Community Center. With daily classes from Monday through Friday, Christina ensures there's something for everyone, including the littles. Her long-term goal? To share the transformative Fit4Mom experience with every mama in Cypress.

Christina's dedication extends to the broader community. She's a firm believer in the power of local businesses and has big plans for community partnerships and charitable contributions in the coming year.

In addition to her work, Christina enjoys spending time with her family, whether it's at the beach or the pool, and, of course, a solo stroll through Target with a coffee in hand.

The journey of motherhood may not be easy, but with Fit4Mom and inspiring mompreneurs like Christina, no mom has to walk the path alone. To learn more about upcoming Fit4Mom Cypress classes, visit cypress.fit4mom.com
