For Cypress residents looking for professional hairstyling, makeup services or a little pampering close to home, another option is on the way. Blo Blow Dry Bar is preparing to open at 27104 Northwest Freeway, Suite 109, in Cypress, Texas, bringing its nationally recognized blowout and beauty services to the Highway 290 corridor.
According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation project filing, the new salon will occupy approximately 1,300 square feet, with a $175,000 interior renovation scheduled to begin November 16, 2026, and conclude January 15, 2027. While Blo has confirmed the Cypress location is coming soon, an official grand opening date has not yet been announced.

The upcoming salon will be owned by Cypress residents Aesha Pankhania and her husband, Nick, who are preparing to bring the Blo experience to the community they call home.
According to the company's Cypress location announcement, Aesha brings more than a decade of hospitality experience, with a focus on customer service and creating welcoming environments. Nick contributes 17 years of experience in cybersecurity and information technology.
The couple shares an interest in fashion, beauty and helping others feel confident in their appearance. Beyond offering professional styling services, they hope to create a welcoming neighborhood business where customers feel comfortable, employees feel supported and community connections can grow.
For Cypress residents, that local ownership adds a personal connection to a familiar national brand.
What to Expect at Blo Blow Dry Bar Cypress
Unlike traditional hair salons, Blo Blow Dry Bar specializes in professional blowouts and hairstyling rather than haircuts or coloring. Its services are designed for everything from everyday styling to weddings, school dances, graduation celebrations, family photos and other special occasions.
The Cypress location's published menu includes signature blowouts starting at $55, dry styling for $40, children's blowouts for $40, and a selection of braids, conditioning treatments, hair extensions and customized hairstyles.
Makeup services will also be available, including express makeup applications starting at $25 and full-face makeup starting at $75. Customers can also choose additional treatments and styling upgrades. Prices are subject to change before opening.
The concept offers a convenient option for residents who want a professionally styled look without scheduling a traditional salon appointment for a haircut or color service.

Founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2007, Blo Blow Dry Bar helped popularize the idea of a salon devoted exclusively to professional blowouts and hairstyling. The business expanded into franchising and entered the United States in 2010.
Today, the company has grown to more than 140 locations across the United States and Canada, with independently owned and operated salons offering its signature styling experience.
Known for its pink decor and what the company calls its pink carpet treatment, Blo focuses on making professional hairstyling accessible for both special occasions and everyday routines.

When Will Blo Blow Dry Bar Cypress Open?
Although construction is currently scheduled for completion on January 15, 2027, that date does not necessarily represent the salon's opening day. Additional preparations may be needed before appointments become available.
An official grand opening date and operating hours have not yet been announced.
