The countdown to Christmas is on, and residents of Inverness Estates are invited to light up the neighborhood in the annual Christmas Decorating Contest, with judging scheduled for Sunday, December 22.

This festive tradition is a favorite for many, as it brings twinkling lights, seasonal magic, and warm community pride to every street. From classic white bulbs and wreaths to elaborate displays with Santa, snowmen, and sleighs—every home adds a touch of joy to the neighborhood.

Judges will be on the lookout for homes that display creativity, spirit, and wow factor. It’s not about who has the most lights—it's about celebrating the love and effort that go into spreading holiday happiness throughout Inverness Estates.

This December, residents have another chance to shine in the upcoming Christmas Decorating Contest, where two $100 gift cards will be awarded—one for “Best Creative Theme” and one for “Best Decorations.” Winners will be announced on December 22, just in time to celebrate the season in style.

Residents are reminded to make sure their lights, inflatables, and other festive decorations are turned on that evening for judging—and to keep them glowing throughout the holiday  season for everyone to enjoy.
