Fairfield’s Fall Garage Sale Fundraiser Returns October 4: Sign Up Now to Support Local Charities
t’s time to declutter with purpose. The Fairfield Resident Garage Sale Fundraiser, a beloved biannual tradition organized by the Fairfield Women’s Club (FWC), is returning Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Rain or shine, Fairfield neighbors will host their own garage sales right from their driveways, garages, or yards, all while giving back to the local community.
Registration is now open to Fairfield residents only, and the cost to participate is a $25 non-refundable donation per household, payable online via PayPal. Proceeds from this donation directly support Fairfield-based initiatives and local nonprofits, helping to strengthen and uplift the community one garage sale at a time.
Please note: While garage sales are typically restricted by the Fairfield HOA, an exception is made for this event as a fundraiser for the Fairfield Women’s Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to serve the neighborhood and surrounding area.

How It Works
Participating is simple:
- Register online through the Fairfield Women’s Club website.
- Pay your $25 donation electronically via PayPal (a $1.50 processing fee applies).
- Print your PayPal receipt and have it available on sale day in case you are asked for proof of registration.
- On October 4, set up your sale at your home (no centralized location) and start selling from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Be sure to clean up your signage and any unsold items by 3:00 p.m.
Residents are responsible for creating and placing their own directional signs if desired. FWC no longer provides signage, and all signs must be removed the same day.

Important Note for Nearby Communities: Unfortunately, residents of adjacent neighborhoods such as Villages of Cypress Lakes, Lakes of Fairhaven, and Falls at Dry Creek are not eligible to participate, as these areas fall under separate HOA regulations.
Why This Garage Sale Matters
More than just a community yard sale, the Fairfield Resident Garage Sale Fundraiser is a chance to:
- Support local charities and community projects
- Meet and mingle with neighbors and shoppers
- Declutter your home before the holidays
- Participate in one of Fairfield’s most anticipated seasonal events
“This event is a fun way for residents to connect, clean out, and contribute all at once,” said an FWC organizer. “Every registration helps fund charitable causes that make Fairfield and our surrounding area stronger.”
Whether you’re selling gently used furniture, kids’ clothes, home décor, or hidden treasures, your sale supports a bigger purpose.
Registration will remain open until the morning of the event, but if you register after 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 3, your address may not be included on the community map shared with shoppers.

Let’s Rally the Neighborhood
To boost participation and foot traffic, consider rallying your street or block in Inwood Park to register as a group. A few neighbors coordinating together can draw more shoppers—and make it a more festive day for everyone.
