Enjoy Tennis and Pickleball in Bear Creek

September 12 2024

For Bear Creek residents looking to stay active and enjoy some friendly competition, Hunter's Park Community Association (HPCA) offers fantastic tennis and pickleball facilities right in your neighborhood!

Tennis Courts

HPCA proudly provides six tennis courts exclusively for the use of residents and their guests. These courts are electronically locked, so you’ll need a key card to gain access.

  • Key Card Access: Residents in good standing can pick up one key card per property at no cost during regular Community Center office hours. Just remember, all assessments and related fees must be paid in full to receive and maintain your key card. If you happen to lose your card, a replacement can be obtained for $20, and the lost card will be deactivated.

  • Location: The tennis courts are located at the HPCA Community Center, 4503 Hickory Downs Drive.

  • Usage Hours: The courts are available from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. If you need to use the lights, please ensure to turn them off when you're done unless there is someone waiting to play after you.

Pickleball Courts

For pickleball enthusiasts, Court 1 is set up specifically for this fast-paced sport.

  • Equipment Check-Out: If you need a pickleball net, rackets, or balls, you can check them out from the office.

  • Resident Use Only: Courts are reserved for HPCA residents and their guests only, and the resident must be on-site with their guests at all times.

Tips for a Great Experience

  1. Be Courteous: Share the courts with others and respect scheduled times. Keep noise to a minimum to ensure everyone enjoys their time.

  2. Check Equipment: Make sure to return all equipment to the office after use, and check for any issues with the facilities so that they can be addressed promptly.

  3. Safety First: Play at your own risk and be mindful of potential hazards to prevent injuries.

Hunter’s Park Community Association is committed to providing top-notch amenities for its residents, so grab your racquets, check out a pickleball net, and make the most of the beautiful facilities at your doorstep. Whether you're a tennis pro or just starting out, these courts offer a great way to stay fit, have fun, and connect with your community. Enjoy your game!
