Dine to Donate 2025: Support Katy ISD Teachers by Dining at These Local Restaurants in Katy
Katy residents will once again have an exciting opportunity to support local educators simply by dining out in Katy. On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, the Katy ISD Education Foundation will host its annual Dine to Donate event, inviting the community to enjoy a meal or snack at participating restaurants. A percentage of sales from these establishments will go directly toward the Inspiring Imagination teacher grants, which fund creative and innovative classroom programs for Katy ISD students.
Supporting Education Through Dining
The Katy ISD Education Foundation is committed to enhancing learning experiences by awarding grants to teachers who develop unique and engaging programs. These grants benefit all grade levels, empowering students through hands-on science projects, creative arts initiatives, and advanced technology opportunities. In 2024, the foundation reached 54 campuses and impacted 63,731 students, awarding a total of $455,765 in grants.
Each year, educators involved in student instruction can apply for grant funding in categories ranging from $1,000 for individual teachers to $5,000 for multi-campus collaborations. By dining at participating restaurants on April 2, the community directly contributes to these efforts.
