
Cypress Ranch Clinches District Baseball Title as Six CFISD Teams Head to UIL Playoffs
As the UIL Class 6A baseball playoffs begin, six teams from Cypress-Fairbanks ISD (CFISD) are making their postseason debut following a competitive district season. Cypress Ranch High School led the charge, claiming the District 16-6A championship with an impressive 13-1 record, and now advances to face Klein Collins in the bi-district round.
The Mustangs’ success this season positions them as a top contender in UIL Region II-6A, and they are joined by Bridgeland, Cypress Woods, and Langham Creek High Schools as fellow 16-6A playoff qualifiers. In District 17-6A, Cy-Fair and Cypress Falls High Schools also secured postseason berths and will compete in UIL Region III-6A.

In District 17-6A, Memorial High School went undefeated (14-0), but Cy-Fair High School secured the second seed with an 11-3 record, and Cypress Falls earned the fourth seed with a 7-7 finish.
