Cypress Mill Holiday Trash Pickup Schedule: What Residents Need to Know This Season

Cypress Mill Holiday Trash Pickup Schedule: What Residents Need to Know This Season

November 27 2025

As the holiday season ramps up, Cypress Mill residents are reminded to mark their calendars for changes to the neighborhood’s trash and recycling schedule. Best Trash, the community’s waste service provider, has released its updated holiday pickup schedule and shared tips to help ensure a smooth and efficient collection process throughout the festive season.

No Trash Pickup on Major Holidays

Best Trash will not provide collection services on the following holidays:

Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 27

Trash service resumes Monday, December 1

Christmas Day – Thursday, December 25

Trash service resumes Monday, December 29

New Year’s Day – Thursday, January 1

Trash service resumes Monday, January 5

Cypress Mill residents are encouraged to plan ahead and make sure waste is set out on the correct rescheduled days to avoid service interruptions.

Recycling Overflow? Here's What to Do

With the holidays come gifts, gatherings, and—inevitably—extra packaging. Best Trash offers a helpful recycling tip to manage the seasonal surge:

Place overflow recycling in clear bags or cardboard boxes clearly marked “Recycle.” This helps crews easily identify and sort recyclables during their routes.

Helpful Reminders for the Holiday Season

  • Set bins curbside by 7:00 AM on your regular collection day.

  • Collection times may start earlier or later than usual due to holiday volume.

  • Please be patient and understanding as crews work extra hours to serve the entire community.

For Cypress Mill residents, being mindful of these service updates and following the guidelines will help keep the neighborhood clean and clutter-free through the end-of-year celebrations.
