Cypress Meadow Pool Season Winds Down: Labor Day Marks the Final Splash of 2025
As summer draws closer to an end, Cypress Meadow residents are being reminded to make the most of the community pool while it’s still open. After a season full of sunny days, family fun, and countless laps, the neighborhood pool will shift to a weekend-only schedule starting the week of August 11 and close for the year on Labor Day, Monday, September 1.
Located at 19230 Cypress Flower Dr, Katy, TX 77449, the pool has been a popular destination since opening daily on May 31. Residents enjoyed regular operating hours of Tuesday through Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
When the adjusted schedule begins on August 11, the pool will remain open on weekends only, following the Cy-Fair ISD school calendar. On Labor Day, the pool will offer one final day of summer fun, open from noon to 8 p.m., before closing its gates for the 2025 season.
The Cypress Meadows HOA expressed appreciation for residents’ participation and support. “We want to thank you so for a very successful pool season!” they shared. “It has been wonderful to see so many families and neighbors enjoying the pool, making memories, and building community.”

Why the Schedule Change?
The seasonal shift is linked to the Cy-Fair ISD school calendar, ensuring lifeguard availability and safe, consistent operations. If school schedules or events change unexpectedly, those changes take precedence over posted pool dates.
Looking Ahead
Residents are encouraged to check their calendars and plan one more swim with friends and family before summer ends. The pool will reopen next year, bringing with it new opportunities for neighborhood gatherings and warm-weather fun.
