Cypress Creek High School Athletes Commit to College Programs on Spring Signing Day 2025

Cypress Creek High School celebrated a memorable Spring Signing Day on February 5, 2025, as seven student-athletes signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. These athletes, spanning football, track and field, soccer, and swimming, are set to bring their talents to colleges and universities across the country.

Football Players Commit to Collegiate Programs

Six football players from Cypress Creek signed their letters of intent, taking the next step in their athletic careers. Jayphon Duncan and Henry Doucette committed to Blinn College, a public junior college in Brenham, Texas, serving around 18,000 students. Kodie Sanders and Nixon Porter will both continue their football journeys at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, a regional university with about 2,000 students in Alva, Oklahoma. Jonathan Coreas signed with Westgate Christian University, a private faith-based institution. Lastly, Blake Langford is heading to McPherson College, a private liberal arts college in Kansas with an enrollment of approximately 800 students.

Track and Field Star Joins Prestigious Military Academy

Dwayne Brocken, a standout in boys’ track and field, will compete at the United States Military Academy at West Point, one of the most prestigious service academies in the nation, with a student population of around 4,400 cadets.

Cypress Creek Soccer and Swimming Standouts Sign

Jorge Quiroz, a key player on the boys’ soccer team, signed with Texas Lutheran University, a private university in Seguin, Texas, with about 1,400 students. Meanwhile, Adilyn Henderson, a girls’ swimming sensation, will continue her athletic journey at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, a private Christian university with around 3,000 students.

“We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes and their dedication to both their academics and athletics,” said Cypress Creek High School’s athletic director. “They have worked tirelessly to achieve this goal, and we can’t wait to see them shine at the next level.”

Cypress Creek High School continues to develop top-tier talent, with these signings marking another milestone in the school's legacy of excellence. These athletes will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact as they embark on their collegiate journeys.
