Cy-Fair ISD Super Senior Card Opens Doors for Sporting Events and Performances to Seniors 65 and Better
Did you know that Cypress area seniors can enjoy quality fine arts performances and lively athletic events close to home? Thanks to Cypress-Fairbanks ISD's Super Senior Card, Cy-Fair ISD residents aged 60 and older can take advantage of free admission to most Cy-Fair ISD fine arts events and free admission to all District-sponsored regular season athletic events, and much more.
The Super Senior Card gives seniors free admission to any Cy-Fair ISD athletic event at any district facility, excluding playoffs. High school schedules by sport can be found here, but note that schedules are subject to change. Seniors can also enjoy free admission to student fine arts performances at any district facility, excluding fundraisers and sold-out performances. In addition to free entry to sporting events and performances, Cy-Fair ISD seniors can use their Super Senior Card to checkout books at high school libraries. Card holders just present their Super Senior card and photo I.D. to library staff upon arrival to the library. Super Seniors may check out 2 books for a 1-month time period, as enrolled students hold priority access to titles. Guests are welcome to assist Super Seniors with book selections. Seniors can also bring their vehicle to participating Cy-Fair ISD high schools for an oil change, tire balance or free 20-point inspection through automotive technology education programs. Vehicles can be dropped off and picked up later in the day while services are completed by students under the guidance of the Automotive Education Instructor. In addition to automotive services, participating Cy-Fair ISD high schools offer various cosmetology services through the High School Cosmetology Program. Some of the services offered include hair cuts, cut and style, color/tint/highlight, pedicures, braids and much more. All services are performed by Cy-Fair ISD students under the guidance of a licensed instructor. Please note that appointments are necessary.
