Culver’s Launches Revamped Chicken Sandwich Line with Free Giveaway in Fulshear; Katy Location Opening Soon
As fast-food giants battle for chicken sandwich supremacy, Culver’s has taken a thoughtful, flavor-first approach that’s about to hit close to home for Fulshear and Katy residents. The Wisconsin-based chain is unveiling its juiciest, crispiest chicken lineup yet—and kicking it off with a nationwide giveaway that includes the Fulshear location on June 16.
Free Chicken Sandwiches at Culver’s Fulshear on June 16
Culver’s, located at 6677 Flewellen Way in Fulshear, will be one of more than 1,000 restaurants giving away free chicken sandwiches to the first 100 customers who order one on launch day. Whether guests opt for dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru, they’ll get to choose from three new offerings: the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich, or Grilled Chicken Sandwich.
“We know the love our guests have for chicken, so we wanted to give them new chicken sandwich options that are undeniably delicious,” said Kasey McDonald, Culver’s head of culinary. “Every little detail is improved – from the juiciness of the chicken to the soft, new brioche bun it sits on. We took our time to make sure we got these perfect. We’re certain that once you taste them, you’ll love them … so we’re giving 100,000 of them away for free.”

A Flavor Makeover That’s Here to Stay
Culver’s spent years listening to guest feedback and experimenting in the kitchen to craft sandwiches that could stand out in the competitive fast-casual market. Each sandwich features an upgraded chicken filet—either grilled or extra crispy—alongside crunchy pickles, creamy mayo, crisp lettuce and tomato, and a new toasted brioche bun exclusive to the chicken line.
In taste tests, diners raved about the improved flavor, tenderness, and eye appeal of the new filets, as well as the pillowy softness of the brioche bun. All three sandwiches are now permanent menu items, joining Culver’s fan favorites like the ButterBurger, Wisconsin Cheese Curds, and Fresh Frozen Custard.
Katy Prepares to Join the Chicken Craze
While Fulshear residents get first dibs on Culver’s chicken celebration, Katy locals won’t have to wait long. A new Culver’s is slated to open in Katy on August 11, 2025 at 3133 Peek Road, expanding access to the brand’s signature hospitality and made-to-order meals.
With the Katy location in the pipeline and a community-wide buzz building around the revamped chicken lineup, this summer marks a flavorful milestone for Culver’s fans in Fort Bend County.
