Culver’s Brings Its Signature ButterBurgers and Frozen Custard to Katy with New Location
Culver's, the popular Wisconsin-based fast-casual chain known for its signature ButterBurgers and Frozen Custard, is bringing its fresh, made-to-order meals to Katy, Texas, with a new location slated to open in late 2025. The upcoming restaurant will be located at 3133 Peek Road, near Grand Parkway and Morton Road in North Katy. This location will be the first Culver’s in Katy and is expected to be a popular addition to the area's dining options.
The new restaurant will span 3,487 square feet and will feature Culver's signature menu, which includes the famous ButterBurgers—freshly grilled 100% Midwest beef patties served on a toasted, buttered bun. In addition to burgers, the menu offers a selection of crispy chicken sandwiches, North Atlantic cod filets, fresh salads, and side dishes such as crinkle-cut fries, cheese curds, and onion rings. For dessert, guests can enjoy Frozen Custard in a range of flavors, made fresh in small batches, and topped with choices like hot fudge, fruit, and caramel.
Since the brand’s founding in 1984 in Sauk City, Wisconsin, Culver’s has grown to over 900 locations nationwide. The Katy location will continue Culver's expansion in Texas, following the success of the Culver's in Fulshear near Cross Creek Ranch and Westheimer Lakes, and other Houston-area locations. This new Katy restaurant is part of Culver's strategy to bring their fresh, high-quality dining experience to more areas across the state.

According to TDLR, construction for the new Katy Culver’s is set to begin in May 2025, with the restaurant expected to open in October 2025. The Culver’s Katy location will provide locals with a convenient spot to enjoy the brand’s focus on quality ingredients, including fresh beef, chicken, and dairy, all sourced from family farms.
