Cross Creek Cares: A Donation & Recycling Event to Support Local Causes and the Environment
Join the Cross Creek Ranch community on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cross Creek Welcome Center Parking Lot for a day of giving back and making a positive impact at the Cross Creek Cares Donation & Recycling Event.
This event is all about coming together to support local causes and promote sustainability. In partnership with the Fort Bend Women's Center, Cross Creek Ranch residents can donate clothing, toiletries, and non-perishable food items to empower and uplift survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Your generosity will make a direct impact on those in need. To learn more about which items cannot be accepted, please refer to this list.
In addition to supporting survivors, the event will feature West Houston Document Deconstruction, offering secure paper shredding to help protect your sensitive information while reducing paper waste. Simply bring your documents, and they’ll be safely shredded on-site.
Electronics recycling will also be available, courtesy of Secure ITAD Services Inc. They’ll be accepting most electronics that plug in or run on batteries (excluding items with refrigerants). This is a great opportunity to responsibly dispose of old gadgets and contribute to reducing e-waste, keeping our environment cleaner and greener.
The Cross Creek Cares event is more than just a chance to donate or recycle—it's a celebration of community, sustainability, and compassion. Whether you're looking to declutter your home, support local survivors, or simply make a positive change, this event is a great way to give back. Mark your calendars and be part of this impactful day!
