Country Musician Patrick Murphy to Perform at VFW Post 2427 Tomball

On Saturday, March 30, the community is invited to put on their boots and head to the VFW Post 2427 Tomball for an evening of live music and dancing.
Patrick Murphy will be headlining the event with live country music. From his humble beginnings on the floor of his grandmother's house in Lufkin, Texas, to gracing the stages in Houston, Patrick Murphy is a testament to the enduring spirit of country music. His connection to the genre is deeply rooted in childhood memories, from harmonizing with radio tunes on East Texas back roads to absorbing rhythms from local band performances.
His distinctive style, a blend of traditional country with modern sounds, is not only evident in his heartfelt ballads and honky-tonk melodies but also in his writing prowess, evidenced in his chart-topping regional hit "Don't Call Me" and his album, "The Rest of Forever". As Patrick continues to captivate audiences with his good-boy looks and bad-boy attitude, one can certainly say that he is indeed 'Something Special'. His son, Maverick Murphy, will join him on the stage for a special father-son duo as well.
All ages are welcome to attend this fundraising event, with proceeds benefitting the VFW Post 2427 Tomball. Serving veterans and the community at large in Tomball since 1940, the VFW 2427 Tomball is currently running a capital campaign for needed building repairs to revitalize their hall, including roof, septic, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, bathrooms and meeting spaces.
