Copperfield Place Village Pool Opening Delayed for Repairs: What Residents Need to Know Before Summer Season Begins

Copperfield Place Village Pool Opening Delayed for Repairs: What Residents Need to Know Before Summer Season Begins

April 29 2026

With the official start to summer just weeks away, Copperfield Place Village families preparing for pool season will need to adjust expectations. The Copperfield Place Village HOA has announced a delay in the neighborhood pool opening due to necessary fence repairs—an update that directly impacts weekend plans, family routines, and early summer activities.

While the delay may be disappointing for homeowners and residents looking forward to outdoor time, the decision reflects a focus on safety and long-term usability of one of the community’s most valued shared amenities. Ensuring the pool area is secure and fully operational is a priority before welcoming residents back for the season.

Safety First: Fence Repairs Prompt Temporary Delay

According to communication from SBB Management Community Manager Tina Moffett, the delay is tied specifically to repairs needed around the pool’s fencing. These updates are currently underway, with contractors working to complete the project as quickly as possible.

The fence serves as a critical safety feature—particularly for families with young children—making the repairs essential before reopening. Residents can expect continued updates as progress is made and a confirmed opening date is established.

Pool Access Cards: Key Dates for Copperfield Place Village Residents

Even with the delayed opening, residents can begin preparing now by securing their required pool access cards. These cards are necessary for entry once the facility reopens.

Scheduled pick-up dates:

  • Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Saturday, May 23 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Location: Copperfield Place Village Pool, 7410 Field Ridge Drive

Each household is entitled to one free access card. For those unable to attend either date, cards can still be obtained through the SBB Management Office; however, a $10 late processing fee will apply beginning June 12, 2026. Replacement cards are available for $25.

What to Expect Once the Pool Reopens

Once repairs are completed and the Copperfield Place Village pool officially opens for the 2026 season, residents can expect a consistent weekly schedule:

  • Tuesday through Sunday: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Closed Mondays for routine cleaning
  • Holiday Schedule: Open on Memorial Day and Labor Day Mondays, closed the following Tuesdays

Residents should also be aware that there are no lifeguards on duty, meaning all use is at their own risk—a reminder for families to plan accordingly and supervise children closely.

What Happens Next for Copperfield Place Village Pool Opening

The timeline for reopening will depend on the completion of the fence repairs, but the HOA has emphasized that updates will be shared as soon as more information becomes available. In the meantime, residents are encouraged to take advantage of early access card pickup and stay connected through official community communications.

For questions or additional information, residents can contact SBB Management or Community Manager Tina Moffett directly via email at t.moffett@sbbmanagement.com

As Copperfield Place Village continues preparing for another active summer season, this temporary delay highlights the behind-the-scenes work that keeps community amenities safe, functional, and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
