Copperfield National Night Out 2025 Brings Neighbors Together in Celebration of Safety and Community
On the evening of Tuesday, October 7, 2025, the Copperfield Community Association (CCA) once again lit up the parking lot next to Labay Middle School with a spirit of unity and appreciation. The second annual Copperfield National Night Out welcomed residents from across the community for two hours of neighborly fun, food, and face time with the real-life heroes who help keep Copperfield safe.
This year’s turnout was nothing short of remarkable. From 6 to 8 p.m., families streamed into the CCA parking lot to explore emergency vehicles, meet deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, and connect with personnel from the Cy-Fair Fire Department. The event created lasting memories for children, who delighted in the opportunity to climb aboard a fire truck, a high water rescue vehicle, and even view the HCSO helicopter up close.

A Community Celebration, Powered by Generosity
The basketball pavilion transformed into a bustling hub for community connection, with tables and chairs set up for guests to enjoy light refreshments, giveaways, and information from participating booths. Vendors like My Neighborhood News, Lone Star College – CyFair, Raising Cane’s, Walmart Neighborhood Market Cypress, ProColor Collision Copperfield, GTZ Creations, and Club Pilates - Towne Lake engaged attendees with friendly conversation and useful resources.
And thanks to the generosity of the Copperfield Community Association, both a taco truck and a Kona Ice truck served up free eats and cool treats for all in attendance—adding a delicious touch to an already memorable evening.
Recognizing Those Behind the Scenes
This successful evening wouldn't have been possible without the vision and leadership of Sharon Malkovicz, president of the Copperfield Community Association, who worked alongside a dedicated committee of passionate volunteers from neighborhoods across Copperfield throughout the past year. Their hard work, in partnership with Crest Management, which manages Copperfield CA and several villages within the community, brought together every detail of the event.
Special thanks are also due to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Cy-Fair Fire Department for taking the time to educate, inspire, and connect with the community they serve. Copperfield is deeply grateful for their ongoing leadership, presence, and unwavering support that helps foster a safer, stronger, and more connected neighborhood for all.

As the photos shared from this year’s event show—smiling faces, high-fives with firefighters, and snow cone-covered grins—it’s clear that Copperfield National Night Out has quickly become a beloved annual tradition. Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and attend again next fall, when the next Copperfield National Night Out returns in October 2026.
With safety, togetherness, and community spirit at the heart of it all, this event continues to highlight what makes Copperfield such a special place to call home.
