Copperfield Dolphins Swim Team Celebrates 45 Years of Community and Competition
The Copperfield Dolphins summer swim team is marking a milestone this year—45 years of swimming, sportsmanship, and community spirit! Since 1980, the team has been a staple in Copperfield, offering young swimmers an opportunity to learn, compete, and build lasting friendships.
Registration Opens March 1
The Copperfield Dolphins welcome boys and girls ages 4 to 18 who live in Copperfield’s seven villages: Copperfield Place, Easton Commons, Middlegate, Northmead, Southcreek, Southdown, and Westcreek. Swimmers who live outside these villages can still join the team by paying an out-of-boundaries fee during registration.
The summer swim season kicks off in mid-April, with daily practices at Park Falls Pool or Autumn Laurel Pool in Southcreek Village. Competitive meets are held on Saturdays in May and June. The team also hosts fun-filled events, including spirit nights, pep rallies, the Dolphin Dash swim-a-thon, and an end-of-season pool party.

New Family Info Meeting on March 2
Families interested in joining the team are invited to an informational meeting on March 2 from 4:00-5:00 PM at Autumn Laurel Park, located at 7750 Autumn Laurel Trail. This is a great opportunity to meet coaches, learn about the program, and ask questions about the upcoming season.
