Copperbrook to Host First-Ever Community-Wide Easter Egg Hunt on April 19

April 08 2025

Spring is in full bloom, and the Copperbrook community is gearing up for its first-ever neighborhood-wide Easter Egg Hunt—a festive celebration of fun, family, and togetherness. The event will take place on Saturday, April 19 at 10:00 AM, the weekend before Easter, giving local families a chance to enjoy the holiday festivities with neighbors and friends.

This year’s Easter Egg Hunt is especially meaningful for the community. Not only is it the first time Copperbrook is hosting a multi-site egg hunt, but it’s also the first time that Magnolia Assisted Living, located within the neighborhood, will be included as a key stop on the egg hunt trail.

“We’re so excited to share this new tradition with the entire neighborhood,” said Copperbrook HOA Board member Mabeleine Lam. “This event is all about connection—across families, generations, and the places that make Copperbrook feel like home.”

Six Egg-Citing Locations

Families can start their egg hunt adventure at any of the six designated locations throughout Copperbrook, each filled with colorful eggs and springtime surprises:

  • Copperbrook Children’s Park
  • Copperbrook Community Pool
  • Deputy Dhaliwal Memorial
  • David W. Cooney Pavilion
  • Magnolia Assisted Living
  • Regalbrook Median

The hunt will kick off promptly at 10:00 AM and will continue until all the eggs are picked up, so families are encouraged to arrive on time, bring baskets, and get ready for some fast-paced fun. A Special Community Connection at Magnolia Assisted Living

A heartwarming highlight of this year’s event is the involvement of residents at Magnolia Assisted Living, who will be participating from their porches—greeting families and handing out eggs.

“The residents are genuinely excited to be a part of the Easter Egg Hunt,” said Lam. “It’s a joyful opportunity for them to connect with families in the neighborhood, and we’re thrilled to be included in the tradition from the very beginning.”

This unique intergenerational element adds warmth and charm to an already festive event, reminding neighbors young and old that community spirit is what makes Copperbrook so special.

All Residents Are Welcome — Help Spread the Word!

Organizers are hoping for a great turnout and are asking residents to help spread the word to neighbors. Whether you’re new to Copperbrook or have been part of the neighborhood for years, this event offers a perfect way to celebrate Easter in Copperbrook while creating meaningful connections with others.
