Constable Mark Herman Hosts Annual Watermelon Giveaway

On Wednesday, July 19, Constable Mark Herman and several of his deputies distributed free, locally grown watermelons from Atkinson Farms Produce to hundreds of citizens from across Precinct 4.
Each year, Constable Mark Herman hosts this Annual Watermelon Giveaway, where citizens receive a free watermelon per family to help them cool off and stay hydrated. Deputies were on scene at Atkinson Farms Produce, located at located at 3217 Spring Cypress Road, starting at 10:00 AM and passed out watermelons to families in a car line until all of the watermelons had been distributed.
According to Constable Mark Herman's office, no county funds were used.
