Colorful Summer Adventures Await at LSC-CyFair Library's 2025 Summer Reading Program
Lone Star College-CyFair Library is inviting the Cypress area community to dive into a vibrant season of imagination and learning with its 2025 Summer Reading Program, themed “Color Our World.” From June 2 through August 2, families can enjoy a lively lineup of free events, hands-on activities, and reading challenges for all ages at their local library, conveniently located at 9191 Barker Cypress Rd, Cypress, TX 77433 near the Berry Center.
The annual program encourages children, teens, and adults to keep reading over the summer months with the chance to earn cool prizes by logging their books through the Beanstack app or by signing up in person at the library’s reference desks. But the real magic happens each week with a calendar packed full of entertainment and educational experiences.
Kickoff with Art Cars and Crafts
This year’s Wednesday event series, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, kicks off in style on June 4 with the Art Carsprogram. Attendees can marvel at a selection of creatively decorated vehicles from the famed Houston Art Car Parade, then head indoors to escape the heat and make their own car-themed crafts.
