Colonies Neighborhood Center Pool Tag Registration for 2026 Season Coming Soon

March 05 2026

As warmer weather approaches in Northwest Houston, many families across The Colonies are already looking forward to the return of pool season at the Colonies Neighborhood Center. Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 102 (HCMUD 102) has announced that details for 2026 pool tag registration will be released soon, with registration expected to run from mid-April through Memorial Weekend.

For residents of The Colonies, the neighborhood pool is more than just a place to cool off during the Texas summer. It serves as a gathering place where neighbors connect, children build confidence in the water, and families spend time together close to home. Pool tags are required for residents who plan to use the Colonies Neighborhood Center pool during the season.

What Residents Should Know About Pool Tag Registration

According to Harris County MUD No. 102, pool tag registration for the Colonies Neighborhood Center will open in mid-April and continue through Memorial Weekend, giving residents several weeks to secure access for the upcoming swim season.

After Memorial Weekend, pool tag registration will move to an appointment-only process. Residents who need to register after that time will be asked to schedule by contacting the district via email at cnc@hcmud102.org

Final details, including specific registration dates, required documentation, and any updates to procedures, are expected to be shared with residents soon.

Planning ahead for registration helps ensure families are ready when the pool opens for the busy summer months.

In addition to daily swim access, the Colonies Neighborhood Center pool remains a popular location for birthday parties, end-of-school celebrations, and summer gatherings.

With drowning prevention and water safety remaining important topics for families, local swim instruction can play a valuable role in helping children develop strong swimming abilities early.

Looking Ahead to Pool Season in The Colonies

Each year, the reopening of the Colonies Neighborhood Center pool in Harris County MUD 102 signals the start of another summer of neighborhood activity—from afternoon swims to evening gatherings with friends.
