City of Katy Announces Holiday Trash Pickup Schedule for Christmas and New Year’s
The City of Katy has announced its holiday trash schedule for the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holidays, ensuring that residents are prepared for any changes in their regular pickup times. During both the Christmas week (December 23-27) and the New Year’s week (December 30-January 3), trash pickup will generally proceed as usual, with a couple of important exceptions.
For residents whose trash pickup falls on Wednesday, December 25th, and Wednesday, January 1st, please note that these pickups will be shifted to the following day—Thursday, December 26th, and Thursday, January 2nd, respectively. All other trash pickup days throughout these holiday weeks will remain on their regular schedule.
As always, residents should be aware of potential minor delays as crews manage the increased volume of holiday waste. The City of Katy encourages anyone with questions or concerns to reach out via email at katy@texaspridedisposal.com for assistance.
