Cinco Ranch II Residents Invited to Earth Day E-Recycle Drive at Cinco Ranch Lakehouse May 1

April 22 2026

Cinco Ranch II residents will soon have a simple way to clear out unused electronics while supporting a cleaner, more sustainable community. In recognition of Earth Day, the Cinco Ranch II Community Council has partnered with Ezee Fiber to host a neighborhood E-Recycle Drive on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Cinco Ranch Lakehouse.

For homeowners and families, the event offers more than just recycling—it’s a chance to responsibly dispose of items that often end up in landfills, while contributing to broader environmental efforts across Katy and Fort Bend County.

Scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 25202 Springwood Lake Drive, Katy, TX 77494, the Cinco Ranch E-Recycle Drive will accept a wide range of electronic waste. Residents can bring items like old computers, monitors, phones, and other devices that include a cord or battery. According to event organizers, food and drink appliances will not be accepted.

The event will be supported by Afterbits, a professional recycling partner that will securely wipe hard drives, helping ensure personal data protection while responsibly recycling usable components.

Beyond the practical benefits, the event reflects a growing focus on sustainability within master-planned communities like Cinco Ranch II. As more households upgrade technology, electronic waste continues to rise, making proper disposal increasingly important for both environmental protection and neighborhood cleanliness. Events like this help residents take action locally—reducing clutter at home while contributing to a healthier environment across the greater Katy area.

Families attending the Cinco Ranch Lakehouse event can also expect a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere, with light Earth Day activities planned to make the experience engaging for all ages. For many, it’s an opportunity to connect with neighbors while taking a small but meaningful step toward environmental responsibility.

Residents are encouraged to mark their calendars and take advantage of this convenient, community-driven recycling effort. Stay connected with My Neighborhood News for more local events and updates impacting Cinco Ranch II.
