CFISD Selects Birkes Elementary Student for Student of the Week
Birkes Elementary School fifth grade student Alyssa Hill is praised by her teachers for being a hardworking and respectful student.

Accomplishments: Alyssa is a hard-working, straight A student. She is quiet and respectful to her teachers, she pays attention and asks the right questions. She is also very respectful and kind to other students.
Favorite Class: “Reading and Writing.”
Favorite things to do after class: “I spend all afternoon playing with Legos, building towns, farms, shops, cars, castles, etc.”
Favorite Song: “Happy by Pharrell Williams.”
Favorite TV show: “Is it Cake because I love the artistry, precision and creativity with all of the realistic cakes they create from scratch.”
Favorite Movie: “The Lego Movie because I am obsessed with building with Legos and it inspires me to try different Lego builds.”
Ambition: “I strive to have a healthy, sharp minded, high-ranking childhood to build my life upon.”
What topics/things are you passionate about?: “I am passionate about Lego building, making my family proud, songwriting, reading, writing and art.”
What inspires you?: “My older siblings were really crafty when they were young and when they outgrew their art books, Legos and craft supplies, they handed their things down to me. I now feel that I belong in the art world”
What can’t you live without?: “My loving family, Legos, and music.”
