CFISD Board Meetings to Tackle Growth, Budget, Safety and Teacher Contracts

April 09 2025

Two key Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD) board meetings are scheduled over the coming days, offering parents, teachers, staff, and residents an opportunity to stay informed and engaged with important decisions shaping the district’s future. The CFISD Board Work Session will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Regular Board Meeting on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held at the Mark Henry Administration Building (11440 Matzke Road, Cypress, TX) and are open to the public. Meetings are also streamed live on cfisd.net

Why These CFISD Meetings Matter

These April board meetings are expected to cover a wide range of critical topics that impact the entire school community—from facility renovations and staffing contracts to legislative updates, budget planning, and school safety. With CFISD being one of the fastest-growing districts in Texas, these discussions are vital to ensuring continued support for students and staff while preparing for future growth.

For parents, educators, students, and community stakeholders, these board meetings offer a unique opportunity to hear directly from district leadership and contribute public input on matters affecting local schools, facilities, academic programs, and budget priorities.
