In a message shared with residents, Canyon Gate homeowner Diana Gonzalez Durlam called on neighbors and friends to come together in support of the family during their time of need. To help with immediate necessities, the community is organizing a gift card collection that will allow the family to purchase essential items as they navigate the days and weeks ahead. Requested donations include gift cards from Target, Walmart, Kroger, H-E-B, and Visa Gift Cards.

Residents who would like to help can drop off gift cards at the Canyon Gate front office with onsite community manager Martha. While no donation can erase the hardship of losing a home and personal belongings, community support can provide comfort and practical assistance when it is needed most. The effort reflects the close-knit culture that many families say makes Canyon Gate one of the most connected neighborhoods in Cinco Ranch.
