Bridgeland, Langham Creek Advance to Volleyball Region Quarterfinal

The Bridgeland and Langham Creek high school volleyball teams advanced past the area round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and advance to the region quarterfinal, while Cy-Fair, Cypress Creek and Cypress Ranch high schools concluded their seasons.

Bridgeland defeated Conroe Grand Oaks in five sets by scores of 25-23, 22-25, 25-21, 20-25 and 16-14.
 
The Bridgeland High School volleyball team defeated Conroe Grand Oaks in five sets to advance to the region quarterfinal round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs. The Bears will face Langham Creek on Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Berry Center.
 
Langham Creek swept The Woodlands College Park in three sets by scores of 29-27, 25-19 and 25-16. Langham Creek and Bridgeland will play each other in the region quarterfinal on Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road).

Tickets for Bridgeland and Langham Creek are $5 each for adults and students and are sold online.

Cypress Ranch lost to The Woodlands in three sets by scores of 22-25, 21-25 and 21-25. The Mustangs were the District 16-6A champions and finished the season as area finalists.

Cy-Fair lost to Fort Bend Ridge Point in five sets by scores of 25-15, 25-20, 10-25, 12-25 and 11-15. The Bobcats were District 17-6A’s second seed and finished the season as area finalists.

Cypress Creek lost to Katy Tompkins in four sets by scores of 25-23, 13-25, 16-25 and 17-25. The Cougars were District 17-6A’s third seed and finished the season as area finalists.
