Bridgeland High School Athletes Commit to College Programs on Spring Signing Day 2025
Bridgeland High School celebrated a momentous Spring Signing Day on February 5, 2025, as seven student-athletes signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. These athletes, spanning football, baseball, and swimming, will represent their future universities with the same dedication and determination they displayed at Bridgeland.
Football Standouts Take Their Talents to the Next Level
Five football players committed to their respective college programs. Quarterback Jett Lewis signed with Adams State University, a public university in Alamosa, Colorado, serving over 3,000 students. Offensive lineman Ian Hall will be joining The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), a major research institution with an enrollment of more than 24,000 students. Defensive back Andre Roy committed to McNeese State University, a Louisiana-based school known for its competitive football program. Linebacker Cole Fattig is heading to Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, which boasts over 11,000 students. Finally, defensive end Vincent Discon will continue his football career at Harding University in Arkansas, a private Christian university with about 5,000 students.
Bridgeland Baseball and Swimming Athletes Sign with Colleges
Bridgeland’s baseball program will see representation at the collegiate level as Hayden Hooper commits to Odessa College, a public junior college in Odessa, Texas, known for its strong athletics programs.
Two members of the girls’ swimming team also signed their letters of intent. Sofia Gonzalez will swim for Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, a private institution with approximately 3,000 students. Haasini Prabhakar has committed to the United States Military Academy at West Point, one of the most prestigious military academies in the world.
“These athletes have put in countless hours of hard work and dedication, and we are incredibly proud to see them take this next step in their academic and athletic journeys,” said Bridgeland High School’s athletic director. “We look forward to watching them succeed at the collegiate level.”
