Bridgeland Announces Six New Businesses Coming to Village Green at Bridgeland Central

July 23 2024

Howard Hughes Holdings Inc., the developer behind Bridgeland, has recently announced the arrival of six new businesses to its 70-acre mixed-use development, Village Green at Bridgeland Central. This ambitious project marks the beginning of an exciting time for the 925-acre emerging urban district and its residents alike.

The first of these additions includes Jonathan’s The Rub, a beloved family-owned restaurant from Houston. The latest addition to the restaurant's Greater Houston locations, the Bridgeland store, set to open in the fall of 2025, promises a casual yet elegant dining experience with an eclectic range of American dishes.

Next up is Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café. Established in 2012 in Houston by Allison and Ivan Chavez, the café charms with a sweet and savory range of crepes inspired by various cultures. This is the third franchise under owners Mike and Mary Kelton.

Texas-based Crust Pizza Co. is another exciting restaurant joining the lineup. Known for its award-winning Chicago-style thin-crust pizzas, the company, established by friends Clint Price and Mark Raspberry, continues its growth with Bridgeland being its 11th opening, with seven more locations on the horizon.

For those seeking a relaxing respite, Venetian Nail Spa delivers with their acclaimed nail salon and spa services. The salon also offers skincare, wax treatments, and a range of environmentally conscious lifestyle products.

Additionally, Teal Poppy is set to open its third Texas boutique in Village Green. This premier women's clothing and gift boutique, founded by Heather Alexander, offers a selection of the latest fashion trends and handpicked memorable gifts.

Rounding up the list is Gelato & Co., a family business offering authentic Italian Gelato. Their goal is to create an atmosphere that encourages living the 'Dolce Vita', or enjoying life's simple pleasures. This will be the second location for the business, which features a range of 20 gelato flavors made daily on-site, and dairy-fat-free sorbets.

These six businesses are expected to commence operations as early as the second quarter of 2025. Additionally, the over 100,000-square-foot H-E-B and Houston’s first mass timber office, One Bridgeland Green, also at Village Green, are slated to open by the end of 2024 and summer 2025, respectively.
