Books-A-Million (BAM!), the nation’s second-largest bookstore chain, is officially open in Cypress, with grand opening festivities set to welcome families, readers, and local leaders on Saturday, November 22nd. The new location, which soft opened on November 6, is located at 28640 US-290, Cypress, TX 77433, in the heart of Fairfield Town Center.
Offering a refreshing mix of literary discovery and community charm, the store’s arrival fills a long-missing niche for a full-service bookstore in the Cypress area—serving neighborhoods like Fairfield, Bridgeland, Dunham Pointe, and Hockley.
Grand Opening Highlights for Local Families
The celebration begins Monday, November 17 at 10:00 a.m. with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted in partnership with the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce. But the main event takes place on Saturday, November 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., when the store hosts a day of free, family-friendly festivities.
