Back to School Photo Contest
Spring Branch ISD students went back to school on Monday and today, Katy ISD is back in session! Highlight your kiddos' magical back-to-school moments by submitting their BTS pics to us and we will feature your student here on My Neighborhood News! When submitting your photos, tell us a little about your student like first name, age, favorite food and activities, what they want to be when they grow up, current attending school, and favorite memories from this summer. You're welcome to submit as little or as much information as you like.
Opportunity: Your Kid = Local Celebrity
Photos and bios will be featured on your neighborhood webpage in the coming weeks. Each entry will be entered into a random drawing for a special feature on our West Houston/Cypress community page! Winner will be contacted by a My Neighborhood News staff member to schedule an exclusive interview. Don't miss out on your kiddos' chance to be a local celebrity for a day!

Katy ISD is welcoming over 90,000 students on their campuses today, including a brand new elementary school in Cane Island. Plus, the TEA recently gave Katy ISD an "A" rating in their Accountability Rating System. Way to go, KISD! Today is the last day for Katy ISD's immunization clinic, so stop by during their open hours to get your student's require immunizations up-to-date.
Spring Branch ISD issued a PSA about applying for free and reduced-price meals this school year since the pandemic's automatic enrollment offering has ended. The TEA has issued their ratings for schools across Texas, including those in SBISD.
