Katy ISD Superintendent Welcomes Over 90,000 Students Back to School
On Wednesday, August 17 Katy ISD will welcome over 90,000 students back to their designated campuses for the 2022-2023 school year. Opening its doors for the very first time will be Steve & Elaine Robertson Elementary School, a campus made possible through the 2021 Bond.

Superintendent Ken Gregorski, Principal Martha Pulido and Namesakes Steve and Elaine Robertson will welcome approximately 700 students and nearly 100 staff members. This state-of-the-art campus, which is designed to serve over 1,000 students, includes leading-edge technology, collaborative spaces for learning, energy-efficient components, learning stairs and other features to support academic excellence. As with all Katy ISD campuses, Robertson Elementary also includes the latest safety and security mechanisms and features recommended by the Texas School Safety Center.
