Aberdeen Green Neighborhood Garage Sale Set for Oct. 31
Aberdeen Green neighbors will have seven hours to browse, bargain and visit with one another during the neighborhoodwide garage sale on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Sales will run from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at participating residents’ homes across the community.
The sale falls on Halloween this year, offering neighbors a daytime opportunity to clear out items they no longer need or see what others have available before the afternoon wraps up.
When and Where
Shoppers can visit participating homes throughout Aberdeen Green during the seven-hour sale window. There is no single sale location, so neighbors can look for homes that are clearly set up as they make their way through the community.
Those hoping to visit several sales may want to start early and allow time to browse more than one street before the event ends at 2 p.m.

Friendly Tips for Sellers
Residents hosting a sale can make the morning easier for visitors by arranging tables before the 7 a.m. start, grouping similar items together and marking prices clearly. Keeping fragile or valuable items in a secure spot can also help sellers stay organized as shoppers arrive.
Tables, boxes and merchandise should remain on the resident’s property without narrowing sidewalks or spilling into the street. A tidy setup makes it easier for neighbors to browse while leaving room for pedestrians and passing vehicles.
A Simple Plan for Shoppers
Shoppers may find it helpful to bring a reusable bag for smaller purchases and small bills if they plan to pay with cash. Comfortable shoes can also make the morning more enjoyable for anyone visiting sales on several streets.
Garage sale selections will vary from home to home, and part of the fun is seeing what each participating household has set out. Visitors should look for active sale setups and be respectful of homes that are not participating.
Signs Must Come Down by Dusk
Residents may place garage sale signs on street corners to help shoppers find participating homes. All signs must be removed by dusk on Saturday, October 31.
Sellers may want to include sign removal in their cleanup plans so signs are not forgotten after tables and unsold items have been brought inside.
Help Keep Streets Easy to Navigate
With shoppers moving between homes, sellers and visitors should keep neighborhood streets, driveways and walkways clear. Drivers should park carefully, leave room for through traffic and watch for people walking between sales.
A little patience and courtesy can help make the morning pleasant for shoppers, participating households and neighbors going about their regular Saturday plans. Follow My Neighborhood News for more Aberdeen Green community events and neighborhood updates.
