A New Year, New Connections in Champions Park
As we welcome the New Year, it’s a wonderful time to step outside, introduce yourself, and reconnect with the neighbors who make Champions Park such a special place to call home.
Established in the 1980s, Champions Park has a long and proud history of families and friends who have grown up together. Many lifelong relationships were formed right here—kids riding bikes, neighbors gathering for events, and families looking out for one another. These connections help create a safe, welcoming environment for our children and make Champions Park an attractive neighborhood for new families looking to move in.
Strong neighborly relationships don’t just build friendships—they build trust, safety, and pride in our community. When people know one another, our neighborhood thrives.

Looking ahead to 2026, there’s even more to be excited about. We are fortunate to have three new parks coming to Cutten Road, with two already completed. Thanks to the help of our community leaders from our mud district and even two of them being our own residents Polly Looper and Ron Walkoviak. These new green spaces will give us more opportunities to gather, walk, play, and spend quality time together as a community.
So as we begin the year, take a moment to wave, say hello, or strike up a conversation. Let’s continue building the relationships that have defined Champions Park for decades—and create new ones for years to come.
Here’s to new friendships, stronger connections, and a great year ahead in Champions Park!
Warm regards,
Lance Looper
Vice President Of Champion Parks HOA
