Supporting the JET Band Program
All proceeds from the Jet Jazz Fest directly benefit the JET Band, a program that provides students with educational and performance opportunities in music. The James E. Taylor High School Band Boosters, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity, supports the band’s mission of fostering academic excellence, discipline, character, and self-confidence through music education.
Participation in the JET Band extends beyond jazz, encompassing five concert bands, a marching band, a jazz ensemble, winter guard, and a private lessons program. Events like the Jet Jazz Fest help sustain these programs and provide students with resources to excel musically and academically.
