10th Annual Willowfork Fire Department Thanksgiving Dinner Brings Falcon Ranch Together in Gratitude

October 22 2025

A beloved Falcon Ranch tradition returns this November, inviting residents to join in a heartfelt effort to give back to the first responders who keep the community safe year-round. The 10th Annual Willowfork Fire Department Thanksgiving Dinner is set to take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025 — and organizers Rudy and Pam Reyes are already preparing to fill plates and hearts with appreciation.

Each year, this community-driven initiative ensures that the firefighters and EMS crews working Thanksgiving Day enjoy a warm and generous holiday meal while on duty at the three Willowfork Fire Department stations in Katy.

“For us, this dinner is about gratitude,” said Rudy Reyes. “These men and women give so much, and we want them to feel the love and support from the community — especially when they’re working through the holiday instead of being home with their families.”

Residents are encouraged to donate a dish — whether it’s a savory side, a sweet dessert, or a traditional entrée — to help create a memorable Thanksgiving meal for the fire crews and their families. Donations can be dropped off on Thanksgiving Day between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon at Willowfork Fire Station No. 1, located at 24655 Westheimer Parkway, Katy, TX 77494. From there, Station 1 will coordinate delivery and invitations to the two sister stations.

Those traveling during the holiday but still wishing to contribute can also make arrangements to drop off their donation ahead of time. Rudy and Pam Reyes will personally deliver the food on behalf of any early contributors.

“This tradition has grown each year thanks to the amazing generosity of our neighbors,” shared Pam Reyes. “It’s a beautiful way for the Falcon Ranch community to come together and show that we haven’t forgotten the people who are always looking out for us.”

Residents are welcome to stop by the fire station during donation hours to visit with the firefighters, take photos, and offer a personal thank-you. The effort not only feeds the body but nourishes the spirit — both for those who give and those who receive.

The Reyes family is already kicking off the Donation List and encourages others to add their name and contribution. To sign up or ask questions, call Rudy Reyes at 713-598-2967.

Whether you're contributing a homemade casserole or a store-bought pie, every gesture counts in making the day special for those spending the holiday in service.
