Your Voice Matters: City of Tomball Seeking Residents to Serve on Boards and Commissions
Have you been looking for a way to make a difference in your local community? If so, the City of Tomball is seeking dedicated, community-driven individuals to serve on boards and commissions. Recent and ongoing advisory groups for the City of Tomball include the Board of Adjustments, Charter Review Commission, Building Standard Commission, Capital Improvements Advisory Committee, Planning & Zoning Commission, Tomball Economic Development Corporation, Tomball Legacy Fund Inc., and the Tourism Advisory Committee.
This opportunity is open to all Tomball Residents year-round, with or without vacancies, and applications are kept on file with the City Secretary Office for 2 years. Service is voluntary and without monetary compensation. The City will provide any required training.
Applicants must complete an application and may provide a resume, if desired. The application forms are available online. Please note there is a separate application for general boards and commissions and the Tourism Advisory Committee. You may also request an application at City Hall (401 Market St.).
