Yorktown Colony Yard of the Month Program On Pause
You may have noticed a change lately – we’re hitting pause on our Yard of the Month program in Yorktown Colony. Unfortunately, we’ve seen more yards becoming overgrown and unkempt each week. It's getting difficult to find well-maintained yards in our neighborhood.
Last month, we encouraged residents to come together and help revitalize our community before forced mowings would be initiated. Unfortunately, it appears that the notice was not taken into honest consideration and the problem has only gotten worse. These overgrown yards aren’t just an eyesore; they can also bring down property values for those of us who take pride in our homes.
