Wonder Expands Into Spring Area With New Location Planned on Spring Stuebner Road
Residents in the Spring and Klein area may soon have a new option for weeknight dinners, takeout cravings, and family meal convenience as Wonder prepares to open a location on Spring Stuebner Road.
The fast-growing mealtime platform, which combines delivery, pickup, dine-in experiences, meal kits, and chef-driven food innovation into one seamless experience, is planning a renovation project at 6625 Spring Stuebner Rd. in Spring, according to state construction filings. The project involves the renovation of an existing vacant commercial space into a new Wonder location.
For nearby neighborhoods and families along the Spring Stuebner corridor, the development signals another example of continued commercial investment and dining growth in the area — particularly as north Harris County continues attracting new residents and retail expansion.
According to project details, the privately funded renovation is scheduled to begin Sept. 7, 2026, with completion anticipated by Nov. 2, 2026. The estimated project cost is approximately $1 million.
The 3,160-square-foot project includes a full interior build-out, storefront modifications, and new signage as Wonder transforms the vacant space into one of its upcoming Texas locations.
What Is Wonder?
Wonder describes itself as a “mealtime platform built to satisfy every craving without compromise,” designed to make restaurant-quality food more accessible through a combination of technology, delivery logistics, and partnerships with well-known chefs and restaurant brands.
Unlike traditional restaurants that focus on a single menu, Wonder allows customers to order dishes from multiple restaurant concepts within a single order. The company says its first-of-its-kind multi-restaurant ordering platform allows customers to mix and match dishes from different chefs and restaurant brands at the same time — something the company says no other platform currently offers.
Wonder features partnerships with some of the culinary world’s most recognizable names, including Bobby Flay, José Andrés, and Marcus Samuelsson, alongside award-winning restaurant brands such as Tejas Barbecue and Di Fara Pizza.
The concept is designed around convenience for households looking for flexible meal options without sacrificing variety or quality — something that aligns closely with the needs of many busy suburban families in communities throughout Spring, Klein, and The Woodlands area.
“We're excited to enter Texas and introduce more people to what makes Wonder unique – chef-crafted menus, unmatched variety, and seamless convenience,” said Tony Hoggett, CEO of Wonder North America, in the company’s February announcement regarding its Texas expansion.
Texas Expansion Includes Houston Area Growth
The Spring location is part of Wonder’s broader expansion into Texas, marking the company’s first major move beyond its Northeast and Mid-Atlantic footprint.
In February, Wonder announced plans to expand into the Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio metro areas. The company said it expects to open more than 100 Texas locations by the end of 2027 while creating thousands of jobs statewide over the next two years.
Company leaders cited Texas’ population growth, strong suburban communities, and demand for convenient dining options as major reasons for the expansion.
“Texas' dynamic food culture, population growth, and suburban footprint align closely with our delivery-first model,” Hoggett said.
For residents in the Spring area, the upcoming Wonder location adds to the growing mix of dining and retail investment continuing along major corridors like Spring Stuebner Road and nearby Grand Parkway areas.
Focus on Sustainability and Community Impact
In addition to its restaurant partnerships, Wonder says it is investing heavily in sustainability initiatives and community engagement efforts as it expands.
The company states it plans to prioritize seasonal and organic ingredients when possible, source meat raised without added antibiotics or hormones, and reduce food waste through food donation programs and waste reduction efforts.
Wonder also says it intends to pursue recyclable and compostable packaging initiatives while working toward zero food waste sent to landfills.
The company has partnered with food insecurity organizations in other regions, including City Harvest, Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Philabundance, and Feeding Westchester, and says it plans to continue participating in local community initiatives as it grows.
As construction activity continues across the Spring and north Harris County area, projects like Wonder’s new location reflect how national brands are increasingly targeting suburban communities that continue seeing residential growth and evolving consumer demand.
What Happens Next
Construction filings indicate renovation work is expected to wrap up in early November 2026, though an official public opening date for the Spring location has not yet been announced.
Once completed, the new Wonder restaurant could offer residents another flexible dining option close to home — particularly for families looking for restaurant variety without multiple stops or separate delivery orders.
Residents can expect additional details about opening timelines and restaurant offerings as the project progresses later this year.
