Women on the Move: Cy-Fair Women's Club Steaming Ahead Into Summer
In addition to fundraising and scholarships, one of the many ways the Cy-Fair Women's Club supports the community is through their service to others. From collecting food and supplies, hands-on service, and specific mini-service projects, the Cy-Fair Women's Club partners with many organizations across the community throughout the year.
Since the beginning of 2023, the Pink Ladies have volunteered 1960 hours (January -April). We continue to volunteer in our community. Attached is a list of Community Service Projects for the second quarter. This is not a complete list. Projects are being added as a need arises.
Logging 1,960 hours of service in 2023 so far, the "Pink Ladies" have been hard at work this quarter and have several upcoming service projects, many of which would offer a meaningful opportunity to join the Cy-Fair Women's Club and get right to work serving the community. While this is not a complete list, here is a sampling of the ways in which the CWC serves the Cy-Fair community and projects are added as a need arises.

About Cy-Fair Women's Club
Cy-Fair Women’s Club (CWC) is a 501(c)3 organization serving the greater Cy-Fair community in northwest Harris County in Houston, Texas. Begun in 1982 as the Copperfield Women’s Club, their mission to serve the needs of the community remain as strong as the day they first came together. Their hard-working, determined members are dedicated to fundraising and community volunteering. The popular market event Shop ‘til You Drop (STYD) is their primary fundraiser held annually on the second Saturday in September. The funds raised through the shopping event, concession stand volunteering, sponsorship, membership dues and donations have allowed CWC to annually provide over $22,000 in high school scholarships and over $40,000 to local charities. “Bringing women together to better our community!” is why CWC exists and how they continue to grow.
