Westlake Fire Department Spreads Holiday Cheer with Chief Rudolph’s Toy Drop
The Westlake Volunteer Fire Department is rallying the West Houston community this holiday season by joining forces with other local fire departments for the annual Chief Rudolph’s Toy Drop—a toy drive aimed at supporting children and families through Katy ISD schools and local nonprofit partners.
Now through December 13th, Westlake Forest residents are encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped toys at the fire station at 19636 Saums Road, Houston, TX 77084. Every toy collected will be distributed to deserving families through trusted partners like Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus, Katy Christian Ministries, HEB Military Families, and other charitable programs serving the Westside.

This local toy drive is more than just a chance to donate—it’s an opportunity to show gratitude to the everyday heroes at our fire stations. Whether you bring a toy or simply stop by to say hello, consider sharing a handwritten card, baked treat, or warm meal with the firefighters who work tirelessly to keep your neighborhood safe.
Westlake VFD and its partners—Community Volunteer Fire Department, Fulshear-Simonton Fire Department, and Willowfork Fire Department—are all participating in this collaborative effort to brighten the holidays for local children in need.
